Trattoria In Vino Veritas

What a delicious and BIG portions of traditional Calabrian food. From outside you may not have huge expectations, but just wait to enter and enjoy a friendly Italian atmosphere with fabulous dishes.

My wife and I found this trattoria without an identical menu but 1400 km from Piola da Celso in Turin.Genuine food done well, rustic but well presented, a magnificent surprise.We had a good time. Fixed price: 20We hope to be able to return at Easter.

I came to Catanzaro for the first time for work and my colleagues took me to this restaurant because I wanted to eat typical local products at zero kilometres. I must say that I was amazed by the knowledge of the starters, first and second courses, a mix of local taste and aromas. The place is nice, convivial and typical. We ate very well. The service was excellent and professional and friendly. I had a drink of the local red. waitress on duty unfortunately I don't remember her name. I loved the risotto and the stew, in short, everything was delicious

Nothing warms the heart like a nice trattoria.Discovered almost by chance, as it is far from the actual center of Catanzaro Lido, "In Vino Veritas" deserves a lot. The idea of the fixed menu is convenient and recommended for people with a big appetite: for 20 the restaurant offers a selection of 0 km starters (which change according to the season and relative availability of the products), two first courses, one second course, dessert and bitter or grappa.The first courses were not in large portions, but it is a more than justified choice, considering the entire menu. In fact, many diners (unfortunately) do not finish the menu, given its overall abundance. I would like to point out the excellent locally produced wine and the sweet discovery of Sila bitters.

Really nice place to get together for a dinner. The service is awesome and the food unforgettable.They offer a weekly menu of various dishes.Antipasto is really filling, the pastas are tasty too and as second plate, the meat is well cooked. The wine they offer is also fine.Fully recommended. Just be prepared for a food baby ;)

The best restaurant in Catanzaro!

One of the best trattorias you will find in Calabria. Genuine food, excellently cooked. A certainty in Catanzaro!

Try it to believe it...Local located in the marine area of Catanzaro provided by numerous car parks.Excellent food (note in the photo... I apologize for the half-empty plate one but we couldn't even resist for a delicious photo), for true lovers of traditional home cooking. Quiet and welcoming location, staffed by equally professional staff. The offer includes a fixed price menu (and endless dishes); given the abundance and goodness of the dishes, we gave up on the second courses and immediately tasted the dessert.Will we go back???
